UP
a dance for camera

Created by Wilderness: Dance Expeditions and Creative Research

Directed/Choreographed by Amber Ellison, "the craftsmanship of Balanchine meets the burning visions of Carlos Casteneda." torques the rules of gravity to create a landscape that is both twisted and liberating, urban and funny. It asks: How do we continue to dance in a world lacking a sense of direction? Performers includes Sage Award winner Kim Richardson, Laura Selle Virtucio "1999 Best Dancer, City Pages" and Jesse Walker, "the Nicolas Cage of dance."
